Big Sky

For 15 years I’ve gone to Montana, the Northern Rockies, Big Sky country, mostly around the Bitterroot Valley. Many scenes have sprung into my viewfinders. Many of these have ended up being captured by one of my digital cameras. I’ve enjoyed the adventures and the results.

While digital images can be technically perfect, I do miss the grit of images captured on film. The images presented here are digital. After my normal processing I then utilized a filter that closely simulates film, either Fuji Velvia, Provia for color, or Acros 100 for b/w. (2 b/w images were shot using Acros film, a third was converted through Photoshop. Can you see the difference?)
